Wednesday October 16th. Year Three - please continue working in your groups to develop a treatment as well as a rough cut, and/or series of images/videos that can help you express your idea and pitch your idea.
Create your treatment - a rough storyboard as well as a shot list and schedule. Also, go back to the blog post on video lighting - I've added a couple of links to check out. Use them to help you think about lighting ideas.
Be prepared to present your pitch - on Friday to Ms. Silverman.
Tips on pitching an idea for a video.
Watch this video and use the idea of the message map, not only to help you pitch your idea, but also to formulate the 3 key points you're trying to make in the promo video. Think about how you can support your three main points with visuals, text, interviews, narration and/or voice over, text/titles as well as supporting audio - ambient sound, music and sound fx.
