Consider this use of New Media

The use of Music, Video, and Youtube is becoming a popular way to promote political views. As you watch this video, I do not want you to think about which US candidate you prefer. I would like you to consider how this type of new media is used for political campaigning. What kind of viewer does this video target? What is the message that is being communicated? What kind of people are used to promote this point of view? Do you think that this type of marketing is effective? Consider the time and effort it took to create this video. Be ready to discuss your ideas in class this week.

It is great to have all of my year 2 CyberARTS students back in the studio again. This semester will be packed with projects, opportunities, creativity and fun. Take this time to revamp (or begin) your blog. Ask each other for help when necessary. Design your blogs to they look beautiful and professional while showing your own personal style.
