I thought I could give you a little more research to do this week. Check out mixed media artist Barbara Kruger. Her works of strong social commentary are created to resemble magazine and newspaper graphic design. Find an interesting work from Kruger. Create a link and post your thoughts about the message in the work of art.
Do we really only exist to shop? Who is the 'I' referring to in the quote? Are the things that we buy what defines us? Are possessions most important to finding out who we are in this world?
